    About me

I am an Assistant Professor (Universitair Docent) at the ILLC. I head the research group on Planning and Symbolic AI.
I am mainly interested in solving optimisation and decision problems. As these problems are typically very complex, I focus on using symbolic AI methods to solve them in a practically efficient manner. In particular, my research is mostly focussed on AI planning, automated decisition making, complexity theory, and combinatiorial optimisation.

    My main research interests are

    • Hierarchical (HTN) Planning
    • Planning using Symbolic Methods (SAT, BDDs)
    • Lifted Planning
    • Theory of Planning and its Complexity
    • Domain and Action Model Learning
    • Epistemic Planning
